Terms of Service

The rules for using Sorcade.

These Terms govern your use of Sorcade (the "Service"), operated by UAIRI ("we", "us"), 169 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10016, United States. By using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Sorcade

Browsing is open to everyone. To post content you must sign in with a Google account and be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it to use online services without parental consent (for example, 16 in some EU countries).

2. Your account

You sign in with Google; we never see your Google password. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy.

3. Your content

"Your content" means the scores, reviews, images and other material you post.

  • You keep ownership of your content.
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, translate and adapt your content (for example, resizing and compressing images) for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or where we must keep them by law.
  • You promise that you own your content or have permission to post it, and that it doesn't break the law or our Community Guidelines.
  • Content is published immediately and is not reviewed in advance. We don't endorse user content, and it doesn't represent our views.

4. Removing content and accounts

We may remove any content or suspend or terminate any account that we believe violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines, the law, or the rights of others. We terminate the accounts of repeat copyright infringers.

5. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, follow the notice process on our copyright & compliance page.

6. Games and third-party sites

Sorcade lists games made by independent developers and links to their official pages. We don't host, control or guarantee those games or sites. Download and run third-party software at your own risk.

7. Sorcade Scores

Sorcade Scores are our opinions, not statements of fact or guarantees of quality.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are significant, we'll announce them on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that can't be waived.
